This program distribution, NOTBK122.ZIP, may be freely distributed in whole but not in part and without alteration or addition (except by way of program and/or distributor identification files).
NOTBK122.ZIP can be used to enter, edit, search, display, archive, and print field Notes generated during social workers' and similar occupations' client contacts or, say, during an archeological excavation. Each Note may be up to about 15 standard display screens long. Notes are organised into Notebooks, e.g. one per client, or as the user wishes, which are searchable using terms decided on at the time of the search, not at data entry. The maximum size of a Notebook is that of a file under MS-DOS/Windows. The number of files is only limited by the capacity of the users disk(s). The program is compact and will easily run on a standard Windows laptop.

Use of the program is fully covered in the Online Help File, NOTEBOOK.HLP, and in the file NOTEBOOK.NTP, which is itself an example Notebook as produced by the program.
To read any Windows .HLP file without its program locate the Help File in File Manager and double click on its name. The Windows Winhelp program will present it to you examine, make context jumps, etc., just as within your application.
